AkzoNobel wanted to promote their wide range of outdoor decorating products from Dulux, Cuprinol and Hammerite to DIYers. I had the idea to create the Outspiration App, The App combined inspiration, hints and tips, a project visualiser tool and promotional incentives to motivate them to overcome the many barriers to complete their outdoor decorating tasks. It was also linked to the Met Office and DIY retailers, so the user could check for the right weather conditions to paint and know where to get the right products.
AkzoNobel own a multitude of market leading paint brands aimed at Trade and DIYers, my role as brand guardian was to ensure all work adhered to each individual brand’s guidelines, as well as producing in store and online campaigns, providing creative strategy and visuals to assist with category leadership proposals for retailer collaborations.
